Thursday.. A Beautiful Day to be Outside..

"Men of vision. Oh, I love the fine names men give each other to hide their greed and lust for adventure." - Charles MacArthur

"Absence is to love what wind is to fire; it extinguishes the small, it rekindles the great."
- Roger de Rabutin

"A man who is "of sound mind" is one who keeps the inner madman under lock and key."

Alphabe-Thursday-
the letter S

Sanity Slivers

Sliding... Screaming...
"Seven Shot Scotch Slurping Song"...

Sam suddenly stopped-
standing silently still

she saw seventeen
silver salamanders sashaying-

singing sailors slipped
slithering sideways southward..

"So" she shouted
seeing something silly...

"somebody saved salt specks
simple seasoning so special.."

"Silly Sam" she said
"Stop sipping sweet sarsaparilla."

"salamanders singing .. sailors saving salt..
sometimes someone should Sleep!"

They bloom in her yard?? I've only seen them forced in a pot in the house. Never thought about them outside for some reason. Lovely photo.
